General dedicated to talking about all of the ways we are making money on the side.
This discussion is generally for topics outside of crypto/stocks and more for businesses or quick cash schemes we do on the side.

I wanted to start this mainly because I'm looking for a side hustle and I would like to start some type of business that can bring in cash flow consistently with some effort. I don't mind putting in some time, but I don't have tons of money to inject. Right now I have consistent, but part-time, employment, and I freelance on the side in my free time.

But I would like another side gig -- but I just don't really know where to start or what to look for. This part of my education was always lacking, so I always feel lost here.

You can do random testing tasks on utest for paypal money, the better you perform the more gigs you get. Helps if you're in a 1st world country, for example I do banking tests where you do a small payment and get $20 for your trouble. The more hardware you have the better (more tests to be eligible for).

I guess in the meantime, before experienced anons enter, I can mention what freelancing I do on the side (which I don't know if I'd consider a "side hustle", but it brings in extra cash, so it's p chill in my books).

>I export videos for media companies
One of the journalism companies that I used to work for hires me to download and gather all of the videos that they livestream, put branding at the beginning and end, export, and put on youtube.

>How can I do this?
Right now is the best time. So many smaller newsrooms have shifted to having these livestreamed interviews over zoom or facebook or whatever. If they are a smaller newsroom, there is a good chance they don't really have the time to repackage or put the content on another social channel. So look for small, independent companies that are doing this sort of thing and you have a good shot. I do recognize that I already had my foot in the door because I worked with them prior. But still, they were just unable to do it themselves and this scenario is likely similar in many other outlets.

Not joking: join the National Guard. One weekend a month, two weeks each summer. The pay starts out shitty, but not really much shittier than any other job. And on the plus side:
1) literally illegal for your other jobs to complain about you doing it
2) often, salaried jobs don't stop paying you while you're on orders, so you're getting paid twice
3) gives you access to TriCare, so your health insurance costs are cut by 50%+
4) good job security - the worse things get, the more work you have
5) preferential hiring if you ever want a federal job
6) free money for college
7) get paid more if you have dependents, etc
8) the most iron-clad pension in America
