1. The general consensus was that the report was going to be really positive. This was known 1-2 weeks ahead of the release. The stock was already pumping because the news had pretty much already came out.
2. If everyone invested in it assuming the report would be amazing, then if anything less than amazing came out it would dump. High risk
3. Realistically, the mine isn't going to be actually opened for another 1-2 years. Bunch of lawsuits throughout it no doubt.

You can get some great packages even just from npm, and I've also been looking into some premade deep-learning bots not that I have the hardware for them.

If you like node/js type stuff, I found an npm package called algotrader which is rudimentary, but still packed with enough goodies (hooks into broker apps to execute trades, lets you import news feeds and ticker data) to get me some experience. There are equivalents for crypto that hook in to the usual suspects. Looking up algotrader on google also brought me to https://www.algotrader.com/product/overview/ which seems to be like the daddy of commercial dev analysis software packages. I don't even wanna know what it costs, but if it's safely piratable..
In terms of coding it myself, I do plan on making investigation modules for combinations of these features, taking their data streams and running string searches and shit on them to get symbol ideas, running those symbol ideas against other modules to evaluate good positions. It depends what level of depth you'd consider to be "coding it myself" - I probably won't be coding any technical analysis if I can find a library that does it for me with market data, but I'll be writing the routing from market data to TA library.
