BTC is kinda broken. it doesnt really work as a payments network, as it can handle 7 transactions per second, on a global level. Bitcoin is a speculative investment, where there is no base demand. 100% of demand is speculation, as its not very useful for anything else.

This is true today atleast. BTC doesnt work. people tried to fix it, and change things, but were called scammers and fraudsters. Things might change in the future, where BTC people get off their ass to try and fix things, but time will tell.

I've been in the crypto scene for 4 years, and am not very optimistic about bitcoins future.

You won't get 20-100x gains in 1-3 years with BTC. Small caps are where the big rewards are at but you have to do your homework, can't retarded, and might have to sell after a big move. And don't push all in to a small cap. A 10k bet doing 10x will more than double your net worth. Right now defi and cefi are hot. There will be a lot of pump and dumps in that space. CEL is the safe/easy money IMO. The tokenomics will continue to drive strong demand as it gains users and user growth is showing zero signs of slowing.

Btc scales better on the base layer better than 99% of coins because of very efficient and small transactions. This is getting better over time with bandwidth and storage like erlay and utreexo. Even better, the btc community understands that literally the only point of a block chain is to validate it with a full node. Allowing as many people to do this is how you provide a check and balance to miners.
A decentralized coin will never compete with centralized mysql silicon valley coin anyway, and in the process of trying you destroy the only thing valuable about btc in the first place.
