I think it's mostly speculation.
What does anyone gain from being a voter for KNC? What do you gain from any of these DeFi tokens? They're all DAO tokens. I don't think they are truly worth billions, but speculation is a bitch & I'll definitely buy DeFi in case I'm very very wrong.

not a scam on purpose but can you honestly imagine a serious person, some 45 year old man who works in finance jumping through all the convoluted hoops to get some minor reward through a defi platform. It's for neckbeards only. It's a bubble that hasn't popped and the gains are nice

All those corporations selling you "MUH DEFI" is just pathetic. How is it DeFi when it is controlled by a company, which will probably be picked up by Amazon or Google in the future.
