software is a consistent gainer since it supports all infra for businesses, government, everyday apps, whatever. you can't operate without software, in anything.

with increased work-from-home and increasing digital footprints, software tech & consumer infra is a consistent and strong grower. these growth rates match AMZN, MSFT, and actually even beat TSLA. while being stable, and being relatively unknown to the regular retail investor.

but I'm personally putting bigger portions of my folio into the software sector with each passing month. growth in all other sectors is amplified in the software sector for a healthy reason, and it counts as tech (obviously). so even if one side of the tech sector tanks, this sector won't tank as hard.

That isn't how it works. The resistance is in the 1900 area, it isn't broken until the price is significantly above it. The problem with the inflation meme and why you shouldn't have brought it up in the first place is that it changes greatly based on what period of CPI you're using. Using the one that is updated monthly, the S&P 500 looks great. Doing the same for gold shows an all time high triple top at 2000. Based on your original argument, would you buy gold at 1999?

It isn't just dependent on the business environment, most US factories will need high levels of automation compared to using the cheap labor in other countries. With automation the core decision becomes the cost of shipping goods vs the cost having to produce in a country with a bunch of regulations and taxes. Goods with a high cost of shipping will be the first to move to localized production.

How long are you negroes holding your SLV and INTC calls for? Unloading during the (assumed Monday) pump or holding closer to expiration (you didn't seriously buy July 31st exp did you?).
