It was an easy choice. I quickly selected "NEET" class anxious to get in the game, but it took 10 minutes just to load. "No regrets" I said to myself. I entered the world in a dark alley behind a blue and white McDonalds. It is just past midnight, a light rain in the air, and faint traffic can be heard in the distance. "It's a smart city" they told me. I survey my surroundings to see what is so different. Immediately I notice dozens of weather devices on every telephone pole. Wind meters, rain buckets, thermometers, barometers, hygrometers. There were even 7 day forecasters attached every few meters; flickering along the length of the entire street. My gaze was interrupted by a large shadow that emerged through the window of the McDonalds. Intrigued I entered the side door of the restaurant. The first thing I noticed as I entered is that i'm standing directly in front of a restroom door that says "All Gender Restroom". The door from the restroom suddenly swings open violently and a large man lunges towards me.

The man stumbled and I immediately evaded him by rolling a 10. At least thats what I thought. But the server wasn't responding. I received an error message "rand() smart contract node not responding". I tried rolling again and again receiving the same messages. The man who had to be at least 500 pounds had me cornered. "THE NODES, THE NODES, THEY STOPPED Broadcasting!" He stuttered. "Because of this the thermometers in the kitchen... they, they have been sending out burgers with...raw meat". He paused to scratch his exposed belly. "I need you to get in the kitchen to setup a node" "But you'll need to find 1,000 Link Tokens first"

"A Link token is what binds us all. It tells us the humidity, the air temperature, the barometric changes and even the 7 day forecast" "Without this accurate data, food cannot be grown or cooked and life as we know it cannot exist. You must go outside into the city and collect 1,000 tokens. Come back to me only after you have collected these tokens. It won't be easy, as singularity is approaching." The man grabs his large belly and grimaces before urgently stumbling back into the restroom.

"Wait! Where can I get more Link tokens?" I said.

"I CANT HELP YOU NOW" he says while loud grunts, and rumbling can be heard echoing throughout the entire store.

You wander towards the front kitchen and notice that there are no employees. The orders are still coming in from a large screen. Large robotic like spatulas are seen processing hundreds of blue and white colored Big Macs. Raw meat juices drip through the bags. They are being attached and loaded onto drones and sent off throughout the city. Still confused by what the fat man meant you exit the front door to look for these tokens.

You walk a short ways down the vacant street. You stop at a sewer man hole that is wide open with the lid tossed to the side. A warm and foul mist rises. You look over to the lid and notice it has the same cube like shape as the emblem on the fat mans apron. Curious you approach and gaze down.

The emblem is a cube shape linked together in a tight pattern. The same pattern from the fat man's Apron. Below; it says "ChainLink Token: With your data the future is today"

You cautiously squeeze down the man hole firmly gripping the rusty ladder. You step onto a wet slippery surface and proceed down a metal platform along the side of an open flowing sewer. Many different sensors are bobbing in and out of the sewer. You walk towards a flickering light. Two shadowy figures can be seen in front of the light talking quietly to eachother. As you get closer you notice the stench getting more foul. You overhear the people say "The PH levels are through the roof, the sensor nodes have failed again and the water temperature is causing deadly levels of bacteria." IT'S GOING TO REACH THE DRINKING WATER OF THE ENTIRE CITY IF WE DON'T ACT NOW!"

You approach the shadowy figures. They quickly withdraw from each other. One of them says to you "Oh hello smartizen, you know its dangerous out here tonight. Have you heard the news? The nodes have stopped broadcasting." "As you probably know; without properly running PH data nodes this sewer becomes a hotbed of bacterial activity. We need your help cleaning up this water manually before it gets even worse." "Grab a bucket of bleach over there and start disinfecting the problem spots. "Return to me once your finished and i'll reward you with 10 Link Tokens." "Watch out for the sewer rats they get aggressive when the PH is this high."

A:Sure i'll help, I need to find a lot of these tokens.
B:Isn't there something else I can do thats less dirty?
C:Can you tell me what the Singularity is? [SELECTED]

Sewer worker responds "Simply put, the singularity is a hypothetical point in time at which sensor readings and blockchain data growth becomes so uncontrollably and irreversibly accurate it results in unforeseeable changes to the universe."

Your character shrugs and responds "Wow, okay that makes sense" "I think i'll go kill some of those sewer rats"

You slowly proceed with the mission painstakenly cleaning the water by button mashing and killing overly cliche RPG sewer rats"

You grow tired of the sewer, the rats and this vague, pseudo techno RPG. You suddenly panic hoping that you can get your $60 in steambucks back. Since you've only played for 15 minutes. You rush to open a ticket for a refund. An error message is displayed "We're sorry Anon, you cannot return ChainLink because your trial period has expired." "WHAT?! NO?! I... We... had just logged into the game, this is total bullshit." You glance over to see the played time clock. "HUH?" the clock displays "Time Played 928 days 14 hours"

You rub your bloodshot eyes, you are bewildered and mentally exhausted from another pointless night of gaming. The rage quickly boils and you jump over to the games review section and haphazardly write out this review :
