If the CEO liquidates 25% of his holdings, then the market will lose confidence. The price will go down. Everyone loses.

What people forget is that Amazon employs 100s of 1000s of people. Each of whom earns an income and pay tax - similar to the multiplier effect.

I'm sure we have all seen those outlandish, bullshit claims like 'Malaria can be solved for $40bn'. It can't - you cannot put a valuation on that. Chucking money at issues doesn't solve them, this is what socialists don't understand. NHS in the UK is a great example. Billions upon billions chucked into it rather than fixing the underlying cracks in the foundations. Examples being that is costs £300 for a lightbulb to be replaced in certain hospitals, or the $15bn spent in PPE for COVID. $15bn, for gloves, masks, and gowns. Items that are a few pennies each for any regular person to buy at wholesale prices.

Heck, in the UK the Gov are throwing over $100bn at a new railway that is already outdated and will strip off 10 minutes on a Journey from Birmingham to London. You will always be surprised at how reckless Governments and large NGOs are with money.
