Every day you hear about some new asshole making shitloads of money doing basically nothing. Influencers, Vloggers, Streamers, Youtubers, OnlyFans sluts, people getting rich off of telling others how to get rich, etc, etc, etc. How the fuck is any of this sustainable? There must be thousands upon thousands of people by now making hundreds of thousands a MONTH doing bullshit that creates nothing of value.

I remember like 6-7 years ago there were only a handful of people really MAKING it on the internet like PewDiePie. Now when I go to youtube in a private browser I see a dozen literal WHO's doing retarded TikTok reaction videos getting 5-10M views per vid.

How do you even cope knowing a fucking 8 year old kid is making $30 mil a year reviewing toys when you wage slave at your 9-5 job and even making 1% of that is considered a high income...

I think it must be the percentages are now at a lot of really really beta types to be a follower of someone like that versus not needing as much charisma in the past to be the influencer. And the true influencers have probably ascended from the game.

David Dobrik used to make 250k a month (without sponsorship) back in 2016, then they got all fucked when Advertisers pressured youtube to lower its prices.
