Is banging women really that hard to do?

Before I got married all I had to do was go to a bar, club, or call a single friend over for drinks and pizza and it was a done deal.

Literally 2-3 different girls a week was easy.

I ended up marrying a girl 10 years younger than me who unironically looks like pic related.

She's super traditional, skinny and a great wife who can actually cook.

Guess the main thing is just grab your nuts and be confident. That's literally all you have to do. Women hate shy faggits.

I've done a fair bit of research on MRNA. Also sold some puts for a slight profit. Overall I think they are still overvalued but with such a political jewed situation like the covid vaccine I exited my position.

Few things to take into account is their past somewhat shady stock trading that had people calling on them to get looked at by the SEC. Another thing is that they are going into their phase 3 trial which is the most likely phase of a vaccine to fail. So big gamble there. But perhaps they can just push it through if that's what they want. Another thing to note is the lack of jews involved in the company.

>> No.20673971

Serious question, if you're only interested in putting your money into S&P 500 or NASDAQ ETF's, (which value has historically only gone up), why wouldn't you pick a 3x Leveraged ETF as opposed to a non-leveraged ETF?

>> No.20674039

>>20673971
Simple jew math; S&P -1% at 3x = 970 USD from 1000. S&P then rises 1% = 999.1 USD. This gets amplified for bigger swings.

I think only investment companies can put new ETFs on the market

If you wanted to mimic an ETF, you would buy fractional shares of the stocks proportional to the % of the ETF you want to them to comprise

So if you wanted to make a /biz/ ETF, it would actually be changing every few days / every week because something new is always being shilled. Right now it would be like

Msft options
Intc options or AMD
wkhs or nio
Tqqq which is retarded to have in an etf
Tsla options
Vix or tvix
Silj
Gdxj or some miner stocks
Airliners
Dnny
Rtx
Chainlink
Btc
Other shitcoins to gamble on

It would probably be a terrible ETF overall. /smg/ etf wpuld be awful as well because there are too many gamblers. You would have to make at least 2 smg etfs: 1 for the people looking to 5x overnight and 1 for the people just looking for stable growth and reputable companies

The latter two also recycle metals which is a business that seems not to have been hit too bad by corona-chan (judging by CMC's earnings). They haven't really gone anywhere in the past 10 years but if China trade tensions ramp up they could see an increase in demand.

Yes. Consider getting smallcap or midcap (Russell 2000 / Russell 1000 midcaps) exposure as well but overall an S&P500 index fund should do fine as long as you have a 10+ year time horizon. Find whichever has the lowest expense ratio & you'll be all set.

Even in the .com burst, QQQ took 2 full years to drop from 110 to 20, and 9/11 also happened halfway through as well.

The tech industry now is different back then - QQQ is not backed by dumpster fire trash like Pets.com and the industry relies on tried and true tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Apple, etcetera. TQQQ is not going to make you "lose all your money" - stop being stupid.

I'm gonna be honest, I still don't quite understand the downside to leveraged ETF's as explained above ( >>20674039 ).

Like, I get the math he's posting, but I don't really understand how it applies to the shares you buy of an ETF.

Take pic related for example. If I had bought a share of tqqq 10 years ago for a dollar, it would still be worth a hundred dollars today right? All the ups and downs between then and now wouldn't matter. I dont get how you're losing money if the stock eventually goes back up and always goes higher.

The risk is that it can lose an insane amount of its value and it would take an insane amount of time to recover. If you lose 90% of your portfolio, you'd have to make 900% to get back to your original 100% investment. And losing 90% is a lot easier for 3x leveraged ETFs. Look at $NAIL for example. We went down hard after 2018 and it'll probably be a long time until you get back to those levels. So if you're a holder from back in 2018 you just wasted 2 years.

Welcome, you've found the cheat code to buying stocks. Although, the "tip" you're getting is lessened a bit by the potential "gains" you could be making.

EX) You sell a put for $MSFT at the 195 strike but it never drops to 195 and it keeps going up. It goes to 210. You keep your original money plus the premium but you miss out on the 195->210 gain per share. So it's basically having an entry plan while getting paid for your time while you wait to enter the position.

Definitely sell puts to enter a position if you don't mind waiting for an eventual dip.

SWTSX - I tend to like this over the S&P due to that most % of the S&P is the big 5 tech companies. So if those companies tank/dip, well the hit to your gains would be pretty bad. As was the case this week. Also it contains smaller companies which tend to grow faster than the large ones so in a rolling economy the potential for high gains is greater. Performance wise this is neck and neck with the VTI/VTSAX.

Here's a good example of the risk with something like TQQQ. The NASDAQ 100 topped out at around 9750 before the crash. Its ATH post-crash was around 11000.

Meanwhile, TQQQ topped out at 119 before the crash, and only reached 125 at its highest after the crash. You were looking at a ~13% upside in the N100 and like a ~5% upside in TQQQ.

Now, neither the Nasdaq nor TQQQ are done moving for the year, and it's almost a certainty the Nasdaq will see higher highs before the election. However, it's not clear whether TQQQ will. If the Nasdaq slows, or has more tumultuous days due to troubling news and investor apathy about tech, TQQQ can see significant depreciation.

People here were posting JUST edits of Mohamed El Erian before the February/March crash. Doomposters were a laughing stock. We're not going to see another big market crash, but TQQQ's run might be over.

At the end of the week we need to reflect on the lessons we learned this week. For me that is going long on the inverse is better than shorting. I got killed on weak IV son my INTC puts, I would have had the same gains if I had just went 2x leverage long. Money seems to not just settle in cash when one entity fails, it tends to at least partly flow into the inverse. Thanks to the anon who posted the PM vs 1929 crash chart.

NAIL has been pretty good to me the past few months, exited most of my position when it was up on Thursday to lock in those sweet gains but plan on buying back in next week when the current downtreand bottoms out. Its pretty undervalued at the moment, but you can get bogged hard still if you buy in at a local top.
Contrary to what the smooth brains on here say, construction is picking up (not to mention the riot rebuilding) . I actually work in the architecture field; people were pretty spooked during the height of nothingburger and some firms had layoffs. Shit still needs to be built though. If you've driven through texas in the past couple years, construction is going wild and they're building shit all over the damn place.

Funny thing about this is that the actual crash was still a couple months out from the peak of insider sales in December. Naturally it's about getting out before shit hits the fan rather than as shit is hitting the fan, but food for thought.

Holy shit, slow weekend thread is slow.
I would agree with your perspective regarding residential/privately owned sites, in my experience most of the big money is with greasy developers or large commercial companies (who may be looking to capitalize on the inbound real estate cheapies). Abandoned buildings are a real bad sign if an area is on the decline, Detroit style, but neglect in a recovering area = more remodel/renovation projects. I think this year's election will be the deciding factor though. NAIL's chart isn't for the faint of heart, probably safe to cash out before 2021 as you said but short term I see it as more likely to pump than dump.
