Yeah you were getting scammed to begin with. Freelance writers who market themselves professionally to a niche make anywhere from 200-400 an article.

$10 an article is actually kind of pathetic, even for someone with no prior experience or formal training.

Freelance professional copywriters who have been in the game generally make at least $70/hour, with most articles worth their salt requiring at least 2-3 hours of work and research (sometimes more depending on content style, technical expertise, and the length of the work). Of course, if you don't have the background, experience, or talent, you're likely going to make a fair bit less... but still, if you're putting enough time and effort into them, you're likely currently making under minimum wage.

Unless you're churning these out in 10 minutes apiece, you're getting ripped off. And if you are churning them out in 10 minutes, than the error is theirs for having zero content standards.

How do I get in on this? Site?

Only skill I learned in college is pumping out research papers quickly and getting that A. Actually wrote papers for people for $$. Generally $50 for a 3-5 page and 80 for more than that. 110 for an online quiz/test.

Ah yes I'm sure this company will mail you a 1099-MISC at tax time. It's definitely not some neckbeaed in his basement shilling some trash product

Where are you working? Fiverr?

If so, asking for more money might just make them pick someone else since decent enough writers there are a dime a dozen.
