This will unironically enter the top 10 earlier than Link and end up with a >$100k value per token.

Only thing I can work out is half the buttons on the website are broken, there's like 3 different websites and it "may" put your money into places that get the best return in the defi space currently.

yearn has a system that can choose the best APR among the several different lending protocols. For example, say DAI has an APR of 5.2% on aave and it has an APR of 3.2% on compound. Yearn will switch the DAI to lend on aave. Always giving you the highest lending rate. Eventually no one will directly use aDAI or cDAI or whatever DAI you have, they will just hold yDAI and that will pick the one with the best rate continuosly.

So what happened is curvefi made a pool of yDAI, yUSDT, yUSDC, and a few other stable coins. This pool earns fees between trading of the stablecoins (kinda like balancer), but is also continuosly recieving interest.

This pool is represented by yCRV. DUSD is a stablecoin that will use yCRV as collateral, kinda like maker. But in maker, borrowers have to pay to borrow DAI. In this case, since yCRV is always generating interest, they are making money while borrowing DUSD.

This will make it so that you can always earn interest no matter what you are doing. Wether it be taking out a loan with collateral or using it for leverage trading.

YFI has a whole suite of DeFi tools coming out and its one of the most decentralized tokens in crypto. This thing will be huge.

Lol, this is the first time I've come on Biz since I got my 1.7M fantom. If you guys can't see what Andre is planning, you aren't going to make it no matter how much capital you earn. Let me give you anons a little hint;

Andre is the chad behind Yearn. His love child is fantom. It's going to kill ethereum.

This entire thing has been to set the stage for his real project, which is fantom. The plan is to launch Fantom Finance, and to port Yearn over to the fantom network while it has the center stage for all of crypto. This project is cool, but it's a stepping stone for larger plans. What do you think people are going to do when he shows everyone they can do everything they've been doing on Yearn, but 1 million times cheaper and hundreds of thousands of times faster?

The stage has been set. The moon season has begun. Hope you guys picked your seats well ;)

Pic related is a taste.

>> No.20668576

>>20668541
I'm sorry man but this is just false. Yearn relies on the different protocols already built on ethereum. Including aave, cruvefi, compound, dydx, bzx, and a bunch of others. The only way yearn could work on fantom is if they ported all those over or made their own versions of those protocols. This is a separate project but fantom finance will get a lot of inspiration from it.

But no I'm sure the launch of Fantom finance and the utility of Yearn finally being noticed are a coincidence, and there aren't any plans whatsoever.

Think about how much easier/cheaper/faster everything would be on fantom vs eth.

For the price of 1 tx on ethereum, you can launch 1MILLION transactions on fantom, all finished within a minute or 2.

>in theory, if one implodes and the rest are fine -- this will be ok
ok in what way? only a 25% loss?
is there actually a point of the governance token?
probably it will get increasingly more yield over time by lending the "stable" usdt until it goes bankrupt
