Are you hoping to make it because you think it'll make all your problems to go away? If you're living in a shack in the third world eating dirt sandwiches and getting AIDS, you might be right. But if you're in the west, money probably isn't your real problem. Its probably your head, and like a horse and carrot you're just running after an illusory salvation. Instead of investing into shitcoins, invest in undoing the problem making dysfunction of your fucked up mind. There are two ways to be rich anon, one is to have a lot, and the other is to want little

nothing wrong with dreaming, and if it works out great.. but no matter what happens, you need to be able to dream and not make dreams your master, think and not make thoughts your aim, meet with triumph and disaster and greet those two imposters just the same

take things back far enough and you'll see that the only thing affected by your winning or losing is your loosely stitched together sense of self. You dont even know who "you" really are. there are things about yourself you would never remember again unless somebody else reminded you of it. Who you are is as much a conscious factor as it is a preconscious and an unconscious factor. Really take the question of "I" back far enough, and then maybe you'll get what I mean. Unless you're a just brainlet who can only think in the ways that he was taught to by his trainers

yea maybe.. your life, in a jungle, getting ripped apart by a gorilla. You dont even realize that the game your "losing" is just a context of what is goodness that someone else gave to you. The only things your winning is creature comfort, and ego. And you probably have more than enough creature comfort right now anyway. All the "losing" you experience is just psychic torment you impose upon yourself because of standards given to you by your culture, your family, and most of all by yourself. Worrying about all this irrelevent shit, your losing your life anyway

The only way to be truly free is to be financially independent.

Most people view "winning" and "losing" in relation to how people around them are doing. Problem is, with the internet and social media, everyone's doing fucking fantastic and better than you could ever hope to do.

>> No.20641097

There is nothing wrong with your logic, but you still haven't realized the context you are putting "freedom" into is one you've been trained for. You are also leading the witness with your question, by presupposing that freedom is financial. The freest man by your definition is usually not even free, this board full of awkward neets will tell you so. And one who has a lot of money, still has to carry around the mind that believed it would find salvation chasing that carrot. You think it would stop just because you "made it"? Made it will just keep moving, until you address the basic, underlying, problem making dysfunction of the mind.

> presupposing that freedom is financial
Financial freedom is an element of freedom. It allows you not to have to worry about a whole lot of things most people stress out about. There are other ways to achieve freedom through enlightenment but that's also easier said than done

It is an element of freedom, but its what that aspect of what you call freedom illicits inside you that makes it worthwhile in the first place. And what is affected on the inside doesn't need to be effected by what you claim it does in order to be so. And whats more your definition of freedom sounds a lot like peace. And I wont pretend to know where each person finds peace, but it seems to me that its never found isolating yourself from others, but its found in a life of kindess and authenticity. Being one with others, loving them, and blessing them from yourself. What I just said is probably where I'll start losing people if I havent already lmao

I do. For me, wealth represents more absolute goals and freedoms. There's a finish line to strive for. Though there'll be a point at which I'll shorten the race if it doesn't look achivable in a timely manner. No point in chasing dollars into the grave.
>>20641322
Checked.
>but its found in a life of kindess and authenticity
Agreed. That's a big part of it. Another would be your health (which many people give up in chasing wealth too hard). Another a sense of accomplishment.
But what wealth represents for me is the freedom to spend my time doing what I want. Maybe I want to try my hand at wood-carving for a few months. Wealth allows me to do so without worry. It's the ability to find purpose in things other than trying to provide your basic needs.

I agree. I mean I am on biz after all, I want to see some gains. I just want to make sure I'm keeping it in perspective and that its not going to make my weaknesses even worse. Never waging again though? would be very nice
