centralization does not mean what you think it means. Link is a decentralized network in the sense that the nodes that validate information are decentralized, not in the sense of whoever owns the most tokens. Does that make sense? The nodes are not all owned and operated by the same people and therefore it is decentralized. It doesn't matter who owns the tokens if the operators are discrete entities.

Additionally, chainlink is 100% premined. those 66% of all tokens sergey owns are going to be the pool from which link rewards are paid out. If you do a transaction on the network you MUST be paid in link. Those link will come from the pool of tokens the company owns and eventually that pool will run dry. It is much like bitcoin in that the rewards will undergo something similar to the halvening when certain thresholds are met in the remaining pool.
