I sold all my VIDT for AMPL yesterday before the rebase, so I could enter after the rebase (I managed to find a 1.65 entry). I had quite a stack of VIDT as well.

I still believe in the long-term potential of V-ID - however Ampleforth seems like an even better opportunity to me. I spent several days weighing my decision, since I felt like I didn't understand AMPL well enough. When the concept and the implications of an elastic supply finally clicked for me - and when I noticed the prominence of the people and the organizations who are actively backing this protocol, it was the final tipping point for me. On my way out of VIDT, it also became VERY apparent to me, very fast, that there is almost no liquidity - so I've gotta say that I am kind of relieved that liquidity is a non-issue now, as well.

Don't get me wrong - not trying to FUD V-ID, it is fundamentally strong. Ampleforth is just straight up revolutionary.

I forgot to answer your question:

No - VIDT has not run it's course at all. I however (seriously) suggest that you weigh the implications of AMPL.

You'll regret selling your VIDT right now. Sell something else.

Yeah, you don't have to all-in. If you have the capacity, diversify a bit and perhaps try to just get a small to mid-size bag that gives you a decent percentage of network ownership at this point.

As I said, I am not trying to FUD V-ID, I wasn't diversified however - it was my only hold (I got in VERY early), and I am still young, so I need to take more risks now, I feel.

Again, you WILL get a nice ROI with V-ID!

Never seen this covert shilling before

>pretend to want to sell X for Y
>discord trannies flood thread telling you why Y is great

Gay as fuck.

AMPL is down 20% btw, so no surprise this thread pops up

>AMPL is down 20% btw, so no surprise this thread pops up

Again, as I said in >>20627168 it took me a while to understand how AMPL really works. By saying that it is down 20% and that should deter you from even considering the asset - you have just displayed, that you actually haven't really looked into it yet.

If you had, you would know that it doesen't really matter what the USD price of AMPL is. What matters is the market cap. I won't go into it - but anyone curious reading this - here is a good starting point for you:

PLEASE note however, that this is a LIGHTWEIGHT explanation of how this works.

Wow you are bad at shilling. You should unironically kys

Why do you AMPL pajeet scamfucks routinely hijack other threads to shill your ponzi scheme?

>> No.20628140

>>20628076
Sorry - let me be more specific. As long as the USD price is above 0.96 USD$ - rebases are going to be positive, which is what you are interested in at this point.

>> No.20628194

The thread specifically related to weighing the pros cons of VIDT/AMPL?

If you go back and read what I wrote, you will see that I am bullish on VIDT. It is a great hold, in my opinion.

If you have the opportunity, I think that this is a better idea. I did not have that opportunity unfortunately. I was already up about 500% on VIDT, though - which I decided to leverage.

Who knows, anything can happen. I might get annihilated.
