Sup /biz/, long time RLC accumulator here. I decided I wanted to help you understand the situation with the ever decreasing available supply, and the ramifications of not accumulating some.
First off, disclaimer, I have over 80k RLC and 20k LINK. No other altcoins matter to me.
Besides that, let's move onto the supply.

Lets get the basics out of the way.
Max: 87M
Circ: 81M
The team only owns about 10-15% of all coins. I assume some of these coins will be used to onboard tech giants.
The team is extremely wealthy from the ICO as well, raising about 10,000BTC and 173,886 ETH. In 2017 it was the 6th largest ICO in history.
That's why 66666 is RLC gets.

In total 86,999,784 RLC have been issued and distributed to 1100 contributors.
I am sure that a lot of these coins have been distrubuted since, as RLC has been down for quite some time and people capitulated.

>Fun fact: The top 5000 LINK wallets have 6% of all RLC

Now let's talk about Binance wallets.
Many users keep their RLC on binance, around 22% of all RLC is on binance.
That means that most 78% of all RLC is held within user wallets, leaving only 22% of 81M up for grabs.
Roughly 17.82M are up for grabs.
Let that sink in. Around the same number of BTC are eventually up for grabs too.
It's an interesting thought.
Additionally, Bittrex non-US has about 3M or 1.3% and supposedly Kyberswap is running low.

Other interesting thoughts are that most of the top 50 whales, specifically the biggest(around 3M), haven't moved their RLC for a very long time.
If we check this picture, we can see that a whale or some entities took around 8,000,888 of RLC off of binance.

So what does all of this mean?
>Is RLC really a valuable scarce asset considered as digital oil?
>Are whales holding, accumulating and supressing while RLC is unknown to most?
>Are exchanges running somewhat low on supply?
>Is iExec eventually going to be the world computer?
>Is RLC undervalued?
>Is it going to experience a supply shock pump eventually?
>Will an American exchange listing like Coinbase make it pump hard?
The answer to all of these questions is yes.
I'm not really bothered by the price movements, yea it sucks to see such a great project with a technically genius team not in the top 10, but that's just how crypto is right now.
I think things will change very soon as more projects are exposed as being weak in comparison to others.
Microsoft and Google being even slightly somewhat interested in iExec is very telling to me that things are going to happen this year.

I wouldn't even take the slight chance on missing out on this one /biz/. I'll probably post this earlier tomorrow for more to see.

Actually, I'm gonna make this a 2 for 1 post.

--------iExec general info-----------

To start with the basics, let's just get what iExec is in it's basic form.
>iExec(i Execute)
The world's first decentralized marketplace for cloud computing and data renting. Basically a world computer.
>RLC(Runs on Lots of Computers)
The token that is required for all services on the marketplace, including staking as a worker.
>Workers
Computers Stake RLC(incase they fail the job or act bad they lose it then),and perform the requested job.
>Tokenomics

>Algorithm: Proof of Contribution

ERC-20
Max supply- 87M
Circulating-81M(much lower, Binance supposedly only has 20M or so left)
Team owns about 10-12% of the coins.
Current price: $1.47
Marketcap:121M

Okay, so those are the basics.

Now why is iExec the Bitcoin of cloud computing? I'll try to simplify but it may lack full logic.
iExec is basically the Bitcoin of cloud computing because nothing like it has ever existed before. It is the epitome of "blockchain technology" and will change the world more than Bitcoin did over a longer period of time. Just like how Bitcoin was the first crypto, iExec is the first of it's kind and the best.
The CEO, Gilles Fedak, has been toiling away on this idea since 2001. Even before Bitcoin was an idea.
The supplies are both interestingly similar. The only main difference in tokenomics is staking workers with production benefits versus mining workers with network security benefits, although the bigger the iExec network is the more secure it will become.

So why is RLC DIGITAL OIL?
RLC is DIGITAL OIL because it's a limited resource(like oil) that allows anyone anywhere to either contribute to the decentralized world computer or to gain from it.
Much like how oil powers vehicles, machines, production and more, DIGITAL OIL powers computations, data renting, ai, machine learning, rendering, and more.

Without oil, there is no cars, no boats, no plastic, no anything.
Without DIGITAL OIL, there is no decentralized computations, data, ai, machine learning, rendering, etc.

Now, some of you might be asking, why do we need decentralized cloud and data?
The reason is simply a by-product of decentralization.
Increased security, privacy, new technologies, and lower costs.
Also, I wouldn't want a centralized AI/robot. Scary to me.

But anon, how does it lower costs?
Decentralization of cloud/data lowers the cost because anyone can contribute to the network. From Google to Ranjesh in Mumbai with a gaming PC(and eventually any device). They can all contribute, and in an open market scenario, competition is going to be wild. On top of that, big cloud companies can potentially use iExec in the backend while they still upcharge customers on the front end. They may also be able to downsize their datacenters to save even more and just act as a middleman.

Here's the kicker. If cloud/tech giants don't adopt this technology they will be made obsolete by being out-priced with the unique features of iExec on top. Therefore, they must adopt iExec by connecting their datacenters to it. This will enable some amazing things that I won't go into right now.

I believe that's it. If you read this far, congrats. Supply is running low. Good luck.

Depends what the talk is about. If it's any form of real adoption itll pump I'd bet. I don't think they would have a conference with LINK and MICROSOFT on the same time slot without saying big shit
