Are quite possibly the biggest thing ever.
>With V5 all computing resources, be it computing power, datasets or applications can now exist as stand-alone ERC721 NFTs

>the idea is you can trade/sell them or put them up as collateral in a loan

>computing power NFTs are comparable to selling a mining contract

>dataset NFTs will be similar to what ocean protocol is doing (I think)

>application NFTs would be selling access to your App (selling 5 uses = 5 NFTs)

Supposedly this is the biggest development in Defi to date.
We are all going to make it.
I'm never selling my barrels to the fudding jews and whales.

Imagine fudding RLC.

It's like fudding Link when it was less than a dollar. I guess they just want to buy lower, I have no other explanation. Either that or they're plain retarded.

I've seen you post this in multiple threads and it's not true. They had to take down the servers in order to upgrade for v5. After v5 supposedly it'll be fully decentralized so no more downtime, ever.

why would amazon, google or microsoft sell their computing power on the blockchain?
you can just go to their site lmao

>> No.20609621

>>20609597
They can still use their website as the frontend and iexec on the backend for all of the new tech and extra profits thanks to decentralization, since its an open market itll be way cheaper than centralized

Hard to believe anyone with half a brain would sleep on this. Real companies, with real world assets, generating real revenue are now going to be able to monetise their assets on blockchain through all manner of financial vehicles, including debt, forward swaps, hell they could even issue equity. If Data is the new oil then this is fucking it.

Yeah i guess that's part of the reason why everyone's calling it digital oil huh
