I have (Leaf dollars) $17k in a tax free savings account, $4.5k in LINK (that's a 445 microstack), $3k in the bank and $4.5k in un-cashed checks. No debts, no regular expenses, school payed for. I'm 19 and have a low spending limit so I've only been able to accumulate so much LINK over the past year, and I have my eyes on SXP currently but I don't think I'm really in a financial position to be messing with more speculative assets and I don't know if I should hold onto the liquid assets I have or continue to accumulate more LINK. I'm a minimum wage employee (14.80 leafbux an hour) but because of low expenses I've basically been able to save up all my money and invest it and plan to continue to do so. I'm an only child from an upper class family, and that definitely gives me much more room to be more risky with my finances but I still don't want to do anything stupid. Any older and more financially experienced Anons got any advice?

Depends on your living conditions.
I like to keep 6 months of expenses in liquid assets as a safety net.
For most people, this is enough, but some, like those who still live with their parents, can afford to reduce that amount.
Only you can really decide how much you should keep available, it's more for comfort than anything else.

You're doing better than 95% of your peers, so good job. Get every penny you can into crypto, the 20/21 bull run has already started. If you're from an upper middle class family then your parents are probably good with money, and it seems you are too. Explain to them the risk/reward ratio of crypto and how this crypto bull market will be the last before full normie adoption. (And the last days of an overall market 10x with possibilities of a few 100x) If you make compelling comparisons to the 2017 bubble and also to the dot com bubble I feel like they might be supportive.

If I were you I'd do 80% LINK 10% DMG and leave 10% for chasing random shitcoins, but as long as your portfolio is heavily weighted towards LINK you'll make it.

Godspeed zoomer leaf bro.

Additionally, it seems like you have roughly $18K USD liquid, and seem to be living at home. Explain to your parents the risk you'll be taking, (But you're in LINK so there wont be any risk) and explain to them that if this works you'll be in a position to buy a house by the time you graduate, and if it doesn't you'll be in the same position or better than any other grad.

I'm still young and sheltered and have no real need for cash I guess so given my limited finances as of right now do you think it's wise for me to acccumulate more LINK or buy some other coins. My main dilemma is I only have so much money and I don't want to be priced out of a 1k stack.

Thankfully my dad is uninterested but supportive of me getting into crypto as he's seen me make good returns on LINK and doesn't doubt it anymore, says he wishes me the best.

Anyway thanks anons I'll buy more tonight or tmrw morning as my debit limit is recharging.

You're in a similar boat as me, I also don't really have any expenses(yes, that includes college) but for a few months I've been getting into crypto and am up 50 percent on RSR. Do good research and the coins will carry you far.

I'm in a similar position, just turned 20, 1.5k LINK stack, 2.5K in bong dollars ($3000), also a minimum wagie. Getting to 1k link was really a burden off my mind. I bought a couple hundred link on the lead up the $5 break out which I'm obviously very happy about. Get that 1k LINK stack, I'll cost you near $4000, but it's better than fomoing in at $10 for £5000. Good luck man.
