LINK vs ETH

If you had to pick one or the other which one would you go with? Why?
I'm more leaning towards LINK because it's still relatively unknown and seems to be following the parabolic trajectory that ETH took in 2017, however, ETH is supposed to be coming out with v2.0 in November, which could cause huge gains. Some questions to think about.
> Which one has better long-term gain prospects?
> Which one has more developer interest?
> Which one will be seen as the better "blockchain solution"

I'm a developer/investor and am having a spot of difficulty deciding which one I should put my time and money into.

ETH right now. Link seems overvalued and has already pumped. ETH seems very undervalued and hasn't had its pump yet. ETH definitely has the better dev interest, but I guess Link has more long term potential because it's a smaller cap

Link has more promise from end to end. Its value is just becoming known.

Link has way more upside imo

Vitalink valued ETH at 7-12$.

I see LINK outperforming ETH on growth, so that's what I'd go with.

Eth will be known in 10 years to people like Microsoft is to people now. Maybe not as big but a name everyone will know.

Eth must win the layer 0 race
Link won the layer 1 race

What if tomorrow everyone starts picking tezos or cosmos to build their dapps? what if someone delivers whatever fucking tech that makes everyone agree on what to use for a fully scalable smart contracts platform and sens Vitalik to the grave?

I think it's LINK as it is a safe bet to singularity, Eth may be the one, but it is ~less~ likely as it is more complicated

your question is retarded as it doesn't make sense to hold one or the other. you should hold both as they are uncorrelated and holding both reduces your risk and increases risk-adjusted returns.

Nice answer, was thinking something similar, BUT, if I gave you 1 million and told you you had to choose one and hold for 10 years, which would it be?

You are right link is overvalued right now. It has more upside because its a lower market cap but ETH by far the safer choice.
