>Buy AMPL
>Receive re-base
>Immediately swap AMPL for ETH
>wait for price to adjust downwards as other people sell
>Buy more AMPL
>Rinse and repeat every 24hrs, making compound gains of 10-20% every day.

Am I missing something? Is it really that easy? Please, I'm asking seriously, is that really it?

It doesn’t always go down after rebase. It did the last two nights but not when I tried this.

you're missing that everyone is trying to do exactly that so good luck competing with thousands of people and the fact that not every rebase dips so you might end up with less actually

You lose your percentage of the supply as marketcap goes up. You're doing it wrong, OP.

>> No.20579550

This doesn't work. Bots are faster than you and it doesn't always follow the same time frame. Sometimes it doesn't dip at all. You will probably get rekt.

Ah right, I think I understand. By selling, I opt out of my % of the market, and since this stays fixed, if MC increases then I actually lose value. Ok then, so is the strat to just hold AMPL through the rebases, and then put it into the geyser when we start approaching $1? Thanks for your ehlp anon

As long as the price stays above 1 dollar, yes. If you hold when it's under 1 and negative rebases start you're gonna get fucked, since literally everybody will be trying to sell. Once the price hits the 1.50 mark, I'm out - but this should hopefully still be some weeks away.

How can you tell what your % of the market cap is? Does it depend on when you first bought in or does it depend on how many AMPL you have?

If I buy more does my % stay the same?

10th July I put in $23K and hodl'd.

Today I took out my $23K and still had $125K...this was just before rebase.

Rebase gave me another $20K.

>>20580295
You don't need to tell how much your % is to know if you are losing it, since once in it will always stay the same. Your % once bought in will always stay the same. SO, if you exit (sell) and the MC increases, and then you buy back in with the same $ amount, you will lose a fraction of your % of the share.
>I put in a eth a week ago. If I buy more does my % stay the same?

If you are putting in more money, you are increasing your market share.

And my point remains. The insane FOMO wave is gonna lead to AMPL getting violently bought up form near $1 levels as of now. Look at the wallets. Went from 7000 to 10,000 in just 2-3 days. Only starting.

What I'm talking about WILL happen. Coins like these never last all that long. Now, is it gonna be in a few months or a few weeks? Nobody knows. But when price levels hit the 1.50 to 1.10 region again, I'm gonna take my profits. Don't get too attached to random coins anons, you gotta think clearly.

>> No.20580795

this thing basically can't be stopped, mc cap still way too low

once prices drops below two, buying pressure will be insane shooting it back up immediately

even a market crash does not bother AMPL, it is then the only place to make money (might actually even shoot it to the stars)

damn comfy

Do we need to deposit Ampl on grese to have a share in market cap ? If we brought and simply hold on kucoin wallet , uniswap , do we still get market share or do we must deposit them to greyse and take share in pool . Please let me know .

Several people have already answered. But no, you don't need to stake in Geyser to own market share. Just buy and hold the coin in Metamask or whatever.

so how do you actually make money? Literally not getting any info besides buy low and sell when it nears 1.50 and collect rebases

>> No.20581476

>>20581389
Buy it and hold it

The price of the coin adjusts back down each day after rebasing, the quantity of ampl you hold will increase as long as the market cap keeps increasing, which for the foreseeable future seems certain due to the positive feedback loop and networking effect

If you bought $100 of ampl yesterday you would have had 50 ampl, today after the rebasing you would have something like 58 ampl

Yes it does, If you know how to work with it.

You have to keep in mind each AMPL is worth $1 no more no less. When you pay more than $1 for an AMPL, you are funding someone else's rebase.

Trick is having the price back to $1 with the highest number of AMPLs you can get out of rebases. This happens during positive rebases, and people are incentivized to sell their extra AMPLs for the higher value which usually goes around $2 or $3.
