I'm thinking about making my LINK and RLC stacks an even 1k, then putting the rest of the money into RSR. What do you guys think? Any other suggestions?

Basically they stake their AMPL with a proportional amount of ETH and receive passive kickbacks of ETH-AMPL as an incentive to provide liquidity and remain in the project. Also, forgot to mention, they receive less AMPL than people that are just holding it in their wallets as a means of transferring wealth to some degree. This is something people who fud this don't understand.
