If you can explain to me why you need to implement a cryptocurrency (the most volatile asset ever) into connecting/insuring API processes, then you may not have a mental thing going on.

There are some things that crypto does well. Other things it's not designed for. Blockchain is a cool technology, but 10 years is old when it comes to technology.
