Not even Intel or AMD can compete with Nvidia’s GPUs because they haven’t been able to write the drivers for deep learning. Eight years on from the new AI economy and they can’t write the drivers for it. The drivers.
This is the reason AI costs so much. It’s not cost effective to use unless you have a monopoly like Amazon, Alphabet, or Facebook.
Not even other GPU makers can make a cheaper GPU. A crypto coin has nothing to do with solving this main problem.
