just found myself trying to explain /biz/ to my mother. told her I feel closer to anonymous strangers on what is essentially a mongolian basket weaving forum than to most normal people in real life. told her that through a collective belief in a certain crypto currency shared over the last 2.5 years, they're the only people who could ever understand what's happening and going to happen in my life right now. told her they even help you & give you advice on non business topics if needed.
