The problem is that your brain makes you think that daydreaming is enough and productive while in reality it isnt. The only way to make progress is to accually DOING things even if you fail. Just tell yourself that you are going to keep failing untill you succeed. You will learn when you fail and avoid that misstake the next try. Your faith is in your hands.

I don't even want to be rich. I just want to live comfortably without working more than 20 hours a week. That's literally all I've ever wanted.

It's scary to see this. This is actually me. Biz is full of desperate losers that are chasing the next shit coin to make it.
The only thing that is keeping me for falling into depression is that I somehow am able to finish my degree. But my biggest anxiety and fear is to be a wagie

You need to grow up and set realistic goals for yourself. Daily, monthly, yearly, etc.

So live like a hobo and don't spend your money. Rich people are rich because they don't buy baubles until they have so much they no longer care

I am without joking a millionaire though. I've lived on 400 dollars a month for years to get enough cash to actually do something. Yes it's hell but where else are we going to get funds? You need capital to get capital and going into debt is the worst move.

Are you taking action outside of just making plans. Are you going through with any of the plans and if the plans aren't working out are you changing and adapting to make your moves work out?

Don't tell me, you also see investments that you actually agree would make money but you're too frightened of the "what ifs" to actually put down a single dollar on them, and when they inevitably pay off you get more and more depressed because you know that was your ticket to the good life?

Yes, and reduce your costs as much as you can. I still don't have netflix or other useless distractions in my life to absorb my time, energy and money. How many series do you really need to be happy? I'd rather watch a few good movies or series in an entire year over going through the wall of sludge on these services
