Eurofag here, I'll be starting law school in a few months. What should I aim to specialize in in order to maximize my earning potential in the future?

Corporate Law (try to get into M&A)

>> No.20500689

Can confirm corporate or maritime law. Lawyers for a large firm(30bn mkt cap) a family member was working for paid 500 euro an hour for legal advice from guys in one of these belgian/luxemburgian firms.
Another ex-classmate of mine did maritime law and after 6 years in the business is now the go to guy for every grey legal dispute within the territory (Greece).

If youre a lawayer tou want to make sure you involve yourself in the most degenerate, illegal and grey-area infested parts of the economy. That pays.

Being Jewish.
No joke, if you’re not Jewish you will struggle to make it as a lawyer.
My best friend is a lawyer and this was her biggest difficulty, it totally redpilled her. If you’re not Jewish you will never make it despite what the schools will tell you.
Start your own firm too.

Law is a profession dedicated to constructing a class divide between rich and poor by creating a difficult to read legal language, complex legal codes, and then dedication human capital towards further obfuscating the legislative and juridical processes. Lawyers are all complicit in this, brainlet.

“Cope” is the retort of the coper, friend. Deny historicism all you want; Foucault has some basic theories on the legal process: maybe you should read “Discipline and Punish,” or maybe just read anything at all idk

I don't know about Europe but personal injury law is big money in the US if you are willing to ambulance chase hard enough.
People who say M&A are morons. That's a highly elite field that very few get into and it requires, at least in the US, an LLM to really get into, which means more school. You'd also want an MBA to really get into corporate law at a high level.
Corporate law, generally doesn't pay well unless again, you're extremely fortunate.

And working for established firms can be a benefit or a curse. Depends on the firm really.

>> No.20502647

Oh and you probably won't be "specializing" at first. You'll most likely be taking assigned classes to give you a base in the law for at least a year.

I don't think that's too big in Europe, compared to the US at least. There's probably some demand for people specialized in medical malpractice and whatnot but not to the same extent as in America.
