Yes. Any company could hire a developer who knows how to interface with blockchains. However, that would require you to HIRE this person, to pay their SALARY. If you have ever worked with any kind of software, you will know that stuff has to be maintained. No company - and I repeat - NO COMPANY with any kind of respect for their business, outsources the creation of critical systems to literal who’s. This stuff has to be handled in-house.

V-ID is an attractive solution because of this. Clients have no responsibility to maintain anything - neither do they have sudden economic burdens because their system needs further development or emergency maintenance. This is a HUGE selling point in itself, but it actually goes BEYOND this, because the companies who use V-ID can PROVIDE this service to THEIR clients as well. The user interfaces are already developed, it’s all plug and play.
