Lmao no. RSV is stabilized at 1$. Rsr is there to collateralize the arbitraging between the vault smart contract and the crypto markets to stabilize RSV peg to 1$.

RSV backed by the Vault appreciates in value/price (over the 1$ peg) when the vault has more collateral than 1$ per RSV. This happens from accumulation of RSV fees in the vault and from the collateral in the vault appreciating in price (ie treasury bonds).

RSV is sold for RSR at 1$ from the vault, “arbitragers” (rsr holders) can then sell the RSV on the market and make profit for the RSV that has appreciate x% in price but they had the rights to buy at 1$.

WHEN RSR IS USED TO BUY RSV FROM THE VAULT SMART CONTRACT, IT IS BURNED. For the stabilizing mechanism to work it needs to burn 2-5% of RSV’S TOTAL MCAP WORTH OF RSR PER YEAR.

When this gets heavier use (it will) RSV’s mcap needs to be in the billions to facilitate trade in all these cashless shitholes, let alone the US or crypto markets.
