BAT is distributed for free for using a browser no normal people have ever heard of. Nobody knows how the internet, browsing interfaces, or advertising technologies will change over the next few years. Internet advertising, browsers and traditional adblockers might go kaput. The recent moon is a mix of TAfags buying the obvious buy position (at the time), youtuber shilling and normies FOMOing. And also maybe some secret new we don't know about.

I do respect your willingness to stay into BAT but I think I will leave this boat soon enough, I don't know what it is that I'm missing but clearly if moon was the destination we would already be on the way up.

As an aside, I also know nothing of XRP despite it's large marketcap, and for a while BAT and it were in the same neighborhood, before BAT leapfrogged it. Dunno what that says about anything, but the clear trend since March has been a steady rise for BAT while others just crabbed in recovery.

It's still #32 on cmc, so relative to the rest of the market it hasn't move. Maybe I'm remembering wrong but when I bought at the end of 2018 I think it was about #14. So if i remember well even if the price has risen, we got cucked relative to most top 50 cryptos
