Eg. I have xsn on the wallet/dex

Yes via discord, the DEX is non-custodial so you are in control of your own funds. You can make backups too, if you not sure how the guys in the discord can guide you.

You always have your keys as the DEX is built directly into the wallet so if it “shits the bed” you can still move your coins to a different wallet.

Is it recommended to put large amounts onto a beta? Probably not but I haven’t had any issues so far but your mileage may vary. Probably best to just ask the devs their advice.
