What's the realistic price on Bancor within the next month or so?

After getting hit with impermanent loss in the Ampleforth liquidity pool, BNC v2 looks very attractive.

bump

How do the two compare?

>> No.20336032

What I was trying to say was that BNC v2 looks to solve a problem that I was personally affected by: the impermanent loss caused by participating in a liquidity pool.

The question is: how much of a price can you place on a project that allegedly "solves" this issue?

Do you think it solves other issues to? I don't know much.

Any other factors that could cause an increase in price other than v2 launch?

>>20336222
Checked. If institutional LPs get on the platform then you won't be selling your BNT for $20 because you won't be seeing it at all. You will just shake and make bank from all the Normies piling into DeFi. Shovels to miners.

I need to do some more research but if this is legit as I think it is I am going all in to try and pick up a 10k stack.

The Chainlink blog post tells you post much everything you need to know. Both in content and in the bare fact that Chainlink are hyping another project which is extremely rare.

Exactly my thinking, I don't think Sergey would want to taint the CL brand by associating with shit tier projects.

It apparently also increases liquidity amplification by 20x, which is actually a big deal because traders get better prices on large orders (less slippage), which should attract more volume, which should add value to the price of BNT because 50% of fees are paid to BNT stakers, which will increase liquidity of pools since BNT is t he pairing for each of the V2 pools. This positive loop of liquidity and value creation for BNT is why many are so excited for the the upcoming update.

It also allows you to pool liquidity with only a single token rather than being required to supply liquidity in pairs.

Pretty fucking sweet, again, I didn't really care for this shit until I tried being a liquidity provider with AMPL and got rekt

Burger here. Big on BNT speculation, but I’ve heard we will not be able to stake with US IP addresses. Do you think we could get around that with VPN? Not sure at what level they are enforcing this.

to clarify, because this thread seems absolutely littered with absolute fucking retards >>20337342 yes im looking at you, you stupid fucking piece of shit. seriously you're either a day 2 newfag, or an absolute fucking idiot

anyways, xnation is a portal to Bancor. they are the most developed and furthest along. Bancor team themselves recommend xnation over other liq pools using bancor

>> No.20337497

Oh also, if Bancor delivers V2 without any major hiccups, it will easily hit $10
Will be the single largest DEX by far. Considering amplified liquidity and single asset staking. Will be absolutely god tier DEX for all of crypto, blowing uniswap, kyber, anything else, out of the fucking watter in terms of slippage

Serious question. I went all in on BNT a few weeks ago and made some shitty trades and lost a chunk of my stack

I am now sitting on 50k BNT. Should I be looking to cash out based on certain price targets or ride the defi train till the wheels fall of and just stake what I have long term?

Personally I'm in it for the hit and run on this defi bubble, going to take profit on the way up.
After living through 17-18 and seeing anons get burnt by being greedy I don't want to make the same mistake.

Might leave a stack for staking, who knows

>“We are all at a wonderful ball where the champagne sparkles in every glass and soft laughter falls upon the summer air. We know, by the rules, that at some moment the Black Horsemen will come shattering through the great terrace doors, wreaking vengeance and scattering the survivors. Those who leave early are saved, but the ball is so splendid no-one wants to leave while there is still time, so that everyone keeps asking, “What time is it? What time is it?” But none of the clocks have any hands.”

Yeah you make solid points. Should I start scaling out near $10?? I feel like selling at $5 is premature since I think we could get there on hype alone when V2 launches.

Thoughts?

I can't speak for your own risk tolerance but my rough plan is to take out initial around 5 and scale out from there as appropriate

What price did you pick up your stack at?

It's half 3 in the morning in bongistan, I'm heading off for the night. Think I've found a solid with BNT so thanks to all the anons in this thread.

>> No.20338283

I'm looking at this now. I have $1k in tether and wanted in to BNT- though i'm worried it might drop further, probably tomorrow.
It looks cheap but when you zoom out it's gone up a lot recently...
It feels like the whole market is going to be triggered by Tesla prices, once that bubble pops i can see the dominoes falling everywhere.

Fed will not let the market fail before November.
Anything after that is a big fucking question mark
