I would suggest learning about traditional finance first and squaring away paying off debt, building emergency savings and IRA before ever touching startups/crypto.

I personally have a TREZOR One integrated into Exodus desktop app. I’d suggest setting up a passphrase in TREZOR’s settings.

I have a fire proof locking filing cabinet that I put my seed words in. I feel comfortable keeping my passphrase in a password manager like LastPass or Bitwarden.

If you’re dead set against trusting anybody even hardware wallet manufacturer then yeticold dot com may be what you’re looking for but I have not tried it myself.

The two mobile wallets I actually have money in is Strike (Bitcoin lightning network) and Metamask (Ethereum Network). Both are still in open beta.
