but i think you're not understanding the dynamics of being in uniswap.
during price run up, you will wind up getting less rewards and more eth as ppl are buying ampl (reducing supply in pool) and adding eth to pool.
during price fall the opposite dynamic will take place....people will pull out eth and add ampl to pool.
the point is: if you hold thru total cycle back to $1 it should average back out to your original percentage.

ampl fags cannot be helped, I was in several early threads trying to explain why this coin makes no fundamental sense but there is just an endless torrent of misinformed bagholders and misinforming shills, making it impossible to discuss the claims actually made by the devs and the reasons they are valid or not. It's actually a good project and is very unique and relatively simple compared to the wasteland of truly useless tech and scams out there. That said, the discourse on the project suffers the same problem all speculative asset communities do:

Namely they become FOMO and FUD polarized due to the average person's unironic stupidity and looking for a golden goose only go up. Living in the moment, unable to see the bigger picture, these smooth brains buy high and sell low, and cannot be bothered with reasoned discourse to take appropriate market positions accordingly based on their own sound judgment. "JUST TELL ME WHAT TO DO. I WANT TO MAKE MONEY" is there battle cry. As well as "HODL", which is fine, but they miss out on the time value of their money they could be using to ride growth curves to true freedom and wealth.

Ultimately, greed is what starts the cycle, and what keeps them in unprofitable positions as they are too irrational to handle money properly, but I will gladly pay bottom dollar to take their bags when it is advantageous for me to do so.

Thing with ampl is it all sounds good and smart on the surface, but there are details that pretty obviously will not work. My advice would be if you are really considering this coin, read the whitepaper and articles CLOSELY, and don't let all the pomp and circumstance intimidate you into dismissing any concerns that you think of

yes it is. in the beginning. it has different phases. its like BTC - at the start it was way more volatile than it is now - bcuz of the larger MC. the same thing is SUPPOSED to happen in the AMPL protocol. so right now, its speculation and a time to make money. The incentive to sell and buy are for profit seekers who sell the rabase in some manner before/during/after. these actors - in theory - will push the MC down and up.
Once AMPL starts to get integrated into other Defi platforms then there will be more demand, more liquidity = higher MC.
