I looked it up, doesn't look too legit, definitely some stains on their reputation.

They have the lowest fees in the industry. Zero fees for market makers and 0.1% for market takers.

It's also the most regulatory compliant exchange, they have a direct line with EU regulators. They even helped Estonia (a EU country) write their crypto legislationit's only thanks ro Coinmetro that Coinbase was able to list Chainlink..They missed a couple of deadlines therefore they dont have thr best reputation but now finally the exchange is very good.

Yea, I'm going for Binance, seems to be the best option so far.

Referral will be the first one who posts it.

Binance is unregulated and will at sole point get shut down. They are not operating within the law. They're good for trading shitcoins though, lots of volume. Even though most of it is illegal washtrading

What's the best route into crypto for a fiat normie. Onramp into coinbase, then transfer to binance?

>> No.20314601

Onramping is cheaper on Coinmetro >>20313337

Will they ask for my passport, drivers license and penis length, and then take 5 days to approve, like coinbase?

>> No.20315103

>>20315067
They will ask for passport as its legally required but you will probably be verified within 5 minutes. If you use the signup link in >>20313337 you will get some free raffle tickets and you might win some free crypto.

Why would you go through all of that, I opened a Binance Account just now and verification and fiat transfers are quick and you don't need 3 Accounts for it.

Let me shill you my referral too

Wtf. I didn't know you could onramp directly into binance with a bank card, I read that you had to already have crypto and transfer it.

Because Binance is operating outside of the law.

I read that before creating this Thread too, seems to be outdated information, I was able to choose between multiple payment options

>>20315378
Idk why people keep posting that, can you at least include in which country? Person Verification is quick because they are operating outside of the law? Why would they verify in the first place?

You don't get a choice if you like niche shitcoins. I use coinbase to transfer USD into ETH then put it in my metamask and go from there. You'll likely have to use a bunch of exchanges if you want to diversify your portfolio

>> No.20316363

Is Gemini good enough for cold wallet? Onramp to Coinbase then transfer to Gemini?

>> No.20316834

>>20316363
Coinmetro uses cold wallets. Anyways if you have any meaningful amount of crypto you should store it on a hardware wallet, not on an exchange.

>> No.20316977

>>20316834
Is metamask realistically insecure?

>> No.20317086

>>20316977
Metamask with a ledger nano is fine. Buy a fucking hardware wallet. It is worth it for piece of mind alone.
