Why is there no discussion as SPACs as an investment class in these threads? Some of the biggest memestocks in these threads recently have been SPACs, but what a SPAC is and how they work, how to find them, the value characteristics of the stock vs the warrant and the rights, etc. are never mentioned. Most importantly, unlike normal stocks, you get your money back if the SPAC fails or if you don't like the merger (not only the base price, you even get interest on top), making the downside virtually nonexistent for stocks, and very low for warrants and rights (with warrants having a significantly higher upside potential and rights having a better floor profit margin and slightly better profit potential).
Speaking of, William Ackman is starting a new SPAC (also happens to be the biggest SPAC in history), and it's supposed to start trading tomorrow (units under PSTH.U). From Ackman's name alone it's most likely going to moon real fast and real hard.

3. I have a plan but keep wanting to pull out and go all in on cheap stocks that have good potential short term of being swung trade. Eg. Withdrawing all my SOXL and closing the puts and doing this the other day could've resulted in $41k -> $45k in under a day on either pick I had granted that depends on the day the price swings otherwise I'm holding for at least a 10% profit which could takea few weeks.

as far as momentum, if futures are moving down into premarket open then the momentum could continue or reverse, but I don't think it's a strong enough indicator on it's own.
Especially now as we move into earnings season, the premarket earnings will do much more to set the "tone" of the day than the futures trading at night.

its like buying contracts for stocks, Calls are bullish, Puts are bearish. You can make money both ways essentially. I never Exercise the contracts, just sell them when I have the profit I was looking for.

I doubt you have enough stocks for covered calls so just ignore them for now.
