In before the common precious metal fud:

>Asteroid mining will make your metals worthless!

Think about how difficult it would be to extract any resources from the moon, there's no way we would be mining anything for less than millions of dollars an ounce from the moon and any asteroids would be at least 100 times further away than the moon is. It's absolutely farcical to think 20 dollar silver is threatened by asteroids in space waiting to be mined.

>Lol what are you going to do, shave off some metal every time you want to buy some bread??

Gold and silver are some of the most liquid assets in the world and have always been able to be sold and exchanged for the local currency. Whether it's for US dollars or the eventual New World Order dollars, you can sell your gold and silver as needed for a few months of expenses. The point of metals is to transfer your economic energy from one currency paradigm to another, you don't necessarily have to spend it as currency for it to act as money.

>Gold and silver's value is only based on pure speculation
Silver is the second most important industrial commodity out of any resource, second only to oil. Even gold which is used in electronics and jewellery has more intrinsic value than any currency or crypto. When they are used as monetary metals, it' basically guarantees than demand for them will never drop off a cliff as there will always be a demand for owning more money. Who wouldn't want more money? The demand side is not going to evaporate like what occurs during a speculative bubble.

For those who want to speculate on a mining stock that I strongly suspect is still in major ramp-up due to people piling in to it, Hecla Mining (HL) is worth looking at. It's a silver miner and in the month or two I've been watching it, it has gone from ~$2.50/share to ~$4.00/share today.

The catalyst for the ramp up appears to be Robinhood users, who are piling into the stock. As more investors pile in, the price will go higher which will draw in more investors. HL is one of the most widely held mining stocks on Robinhood but it has a lot of room to get even more widely owned.

Note that I'm mentionin Hecla as a momentum trade, not as something based on financials. I could be wrong but even if I'm right, people who choose to buy it will have to know when is a reasonable time to get out. I'm guessing that if the Robinhood momentum continues, this stock could double or triple in a month or two.

It's pretty obvious that the only way space mining will be profitable is if we have a space elevator/skyhook and/or a moon base

Hey is this a bad plan? I am going to start a good paying job this week. Live at home for free and currently have $34k in the bank.

I’m planing on buying pic related every week until my savings hits $30k and then continue with my pay and just keeping my bank account at 30k Jew bucks and dumping the rest into silver. Goal is 1000 ounces already at 650 + this purchase. Thoughts?

If we have to reevaluate gold & silver to worldwide assets value, i expect nothing less than a x10000 moon run, and that's only real assets, without all the talmudic vapor clownery like CDS, CDO, supra-collateralized shit and the 1.4 quadrillions USD derivatives hyperbubble. And that's assuming gold reserves held by all countries are real numbers and real gold, which we know both to be far from the truth. In term, it could become a real issue for industrial demand, so i think a non-rare third metal will have to be added as money to soften the burden, either it be copper, nickel or whatever.

DESU lifestyle homeless are based and redpilled in some ways. Ever since the Enclosure Laws fucked the commons, and then the ending of the frontier, a average guy with nothing has been fucked. You have no access to the resources that should rightfully be shared among all citizens. Dropping out of the system and leeching off the immoral state seems justified.

Hecla Mining is one of the US's oldest silver mining companies, operating primarily from Idaho's silver Valley, though they own properties all the way into BC in the Silvery Slocan belt. Their main project is the Lucky Friday mine, located in Idaho's Silver Valley mining camp, one of only 3 remaining primary silver mines in the region. Lucky Friday with its new main shaft and access to more ore recently detected with underground drilling expects to be operating into the 2040s but ore grades are only continuing at depth. New Gold is a more modern company focused on the Afton Mine in BC and its major new Blackwater gold mine joint venture with Artemis Gold which bought into the project for a massive sum of cash.

It's the way the coins are minted. The uncirculated coins can be bought by anyone directly from the US Mint and they have a frosted (satin) finish. The bullion coins can only be bought from the US Mint by authorized dealers/distributors (you need to be able to buy millions of dollars of product from the US Mint to be considered for this) and they have a shiny finish.

The uncirculated coins you buy from the US Mint have a better chance of being in a high grade condition (MS70, MS69) than if you bought a bullion coin, which might have minute dings that will drop it to MS68 condition, although it isn't all that rare for a bullion coin to grade MS69 or MS70.
