So what's AMPL you may be asking, and why are people calling it 'the next bitcoin'? Because much like bitcoin, AMPL solves a financial problem that has never been solved before (Bitcoin and blockchain solved the Byzantine Generals problem completely revolutionizing the financial ledger for all time). AMPL removes inflation and deflation from a financial supply using new technology (smart contract governed elastic supply). Only high IQ biz anons truly understand how completely revolutionary this is. When a new piece of technology solves longstanding financial problems it's A HUGE FUCKING DEAL, and creates a new asset class. We saw this happen with Bitcoin.

- AMPL currently has market cap of $161 million, which has nearly doubled in a couple of days. (Many agree that a market cap of 1-6 billion is totally feasible, and for reference HEX was at 600mil at its peak, but AMPL is actually legit)

- AMPL is Sergey Nazarov approved and Chainlink Oracle integration went live in December

- It's currently #63 on coinmarketcap.com (What happens when it cracks the top 50 and normies start to take notice? What about top 20? When does it swallow Tether?)

Now most fudders call this a Ponzi Scheme. A few things to go over - A ponzi scheme is a bad faith trap set by initial investors. Anyone who knows anything about this project can GUARANTEE that the devs did not set this up to just pull a fast one and rug pull. Early investors and people in the geyeser are in this for the long haul because they see the potential of this. Short term biztards literally think this is a ponzi because they've never witnessed anything as revolutionary as this before. The larger the MC grows, and the more liquidity in the pool, the harder it would be to cause a flash crash by mass dumping. When a rebase occurs the supply increases (while the price is > the target). If the price doesnt drop accordingly it just means a higher mcap and since what you really own is a portion of the supply your value increases.

In a normal rational economy a rebase should always cause a sell off however there is extremely high demand due to the project growing in popularity so rebases arent decreasing the price long term.

AMPL uses a chainlink oracle to gain its market price on exchanges. If the dollar value is higher than $1, every address that holds AMPL gets more AMPL. you still have the same % of all AMPL as before, just an inflated number. if dollar value is less than $1, the opposite happens, deflation, and everyone gets less AMPL. again, same %, just smaller number.

It uses daily inflation/deflation to try to reach a target value of $1

For example if the price of one ample is 4$ you will have a rebase of the oracle price which would be more or less 4 minus the target price which is 1,06$. So (4-1)*10%=30%. The total supply will be multiplicated by 1.3 and the price would go down by the same number to come to an equilibrium. If the price would reach 10$ the rebase would be 90%. So the supply would go up by 90% but the price would reach 1$. So as you can see...the more market cap it has it practically always stays at the 1$

Let’s assume that tonight is “the night” that the crash begins. For the past 10 days, fedora tipping “technical analysis traders” have been calling the top and been wrong, but I digress.

Let’s assume tonight we will start to crash. The amount of people who are trying to get into ample on a dip via usd/btc is enormous, look at the books. This means that the crash will be very slow and take days/weeks to reach $1. Every single one of those days we have another rebase and we all get 10-20% more ampls while our usd value drops. In my case personally I will still be up 4x when ample reaches $1. I’ll be in no rush to panic sell or dump my stack because during these same days/weeks the price slowly corrects down to $1, there will likely be catalysts for pumps such as: binance listing, compound collateral integration, coinbase custody/pro, big name shillers, etc. People are super hesitant to face the fact that ampl is at the right place at the right time for a 0 risk and 100% reward opportunity. Then we have the beehive to consider which still has 88 day’s remaining. Ampl is antifragile it seems just like bitcoin.
