I saw a chart today (trying to find it again, will post here as soon as I do) that showed that the top 1% of wallets hold 80% of all chainlink, excluding the team

This is up from about 50% in June 2019

The concentration of LINK in the top 1% wallets has been constantly growing since the June 2019 pump last year. It recently had a large pump from about 74% to its current 80% on the surge above 6 dollars

This blows my mind. The chainlink pump literally had nothing to do with normies jumping in. It's literally whales who are in since 2017 ploughing into more LINK. Normies are literally selling here while whales accumulate

Chainlink was never meant to be a public project. It will exclusively be used by companies for automation.

The competitive impetus for node operators to hoard LINK to supply as collateral is a value driver that exists completely independent of retail speculators. We've known this since 2017.

This is another reason why the team kept a good amount of LINK to avoid the situation where ((whales)) gobble it all up

It is not. Only shitcoins have whales holding +50% of supply.

This.

There is no real need for the token.

Companies may as well make money while the sun shines.

So you're telling me there could be one or two biz/tards from the Mt.Gox days who made it big with BTC indvertantly from trading dual land cards for bitcoin...
...who have been buying up LINK and pushing the price because of the memes?
>Because that's exactly what i'm doing

Is this not shewed heavily by the team holding 70% if the tokens?
