Anyone else get weird spikes periodically added to their past chart for no reason?
For months I had one at 12k and one at 10k and now starting today I have one at 44k and another at 30k.

before it used to make prices shoot up, now its making the prices slowly tumble.

when i first got the app i would watch the trades go through for shits and giggles, i would buy an odd number of shares like 7 shares and i would see it go through the tape, Then after awhile i noticed even lots of 100 would go through and the stocks would shoot up with heavy volume. Now i notice that most the time no trades go through for a few minutes after i buy, then the lot of 100 goes through, after about a day the stock looks like its being manipulated, the level 2 bid and ask shuffle back and forth but before i bought i would watch the level 2 to see how it behaves before i buy and after.

Alright lads, I've been lurking for awhile and playing paper stocks, I want to get started investing for real soon. I understand the basics of trading but don't think I have the resources to make good picks. Where do you guys get solid news/reports from? Are there any programs out there that consolidate this info for you to make it more concise?

Doesn't work that way, anon. As far as I know most of their ships are chartered at a fix price and so the BDI's actual impact on earnings is minimal.
That said, I still think they'll beat earnings, and their updated books should show they've done a lot to help their debt problem.

What concerns me is that no one is buying the ask, but lots of people are selling and punching holes in buy walls that are $20-30k each.
