Let me ask you this: how many projects on Kickstarter actually ended up fulfilling their goals? How many projects just up and disappeared with no trace? And how many of those people ended up with legal issues on their hands? Fuck, the Pictures for Sad Children guy outright burned all the books he was supposed to ship out and blatantly told people that he was taking their money and had no intention of refunding them, and he got away with it scot free.
