There would need to be changes to the code to make it possible to have a crypto in game sadly. In 2-8 years there will be a new version of runescape where the economy blockchain based making it easy and cool to transfer your bits and bobs and very hard to steal. Jagex will never do this though.

You would just have to sell gold to some sketchy site and then convert to crypto. Most gold sellers work are into crypto though so you can just get it directly. It is not a trustless trade though

You could easily do a tether approach if you are loaded ingame. Back your crypto with RSGP and let it be exchangeable 1:1 and constrict/expand the monetary supply based on the inflation/deflation of the RS economy. It wouldn’t be possible to use it in game without bigtime changes to the RS engine which is pure spaghetti
