If you hold for a year you will pay 15%. Which is not terrible compared to some other countries. Supposedly Bitpay is working on a debit card but I don't think they will be able to accomplish that without reporting transactions over a certain amount to the IRS.

The big Q I have is how do we pay on staked / mined coins/tokens. I've read that that counts as income which would basically mean you are forced to sell some to pay the taxes each year.
