I use finviz or my broker if I want to find stocks since they have a bunch of information already available. Just a few other resources I can think of is reading past earnings report, knowing the sector (i.e if i'm looking at a oil company I also want to know about crude oil prices and if the company can sustain at that price or knowing some general terms like midstream, integrated, upstream, etc), google the split history (loll TOPS/SHIP), companies website usually have investors section and sometimes have their PR on social media that maybe you want to follow.

CLCI might be interesting. It was a single employee crypto software project that went nowhere, but the company was sold today to a 25-years wallstreet veteran who terminated that project and started a non-crypto webapp instead.
It has virtually 0 volume so it should be easy to group-pump as well, especially with its very low price.
After terminating the cryptoshit, the new owner hired a new CTO and CMO, who were former coworkers on some other software projects. the CTO is a relatively experienced app dev (he's the one behind Ember).
The app they're developing is called Cruze, and is described as: "get paid to navigate, drive safe and report traffic". Release date ETA is Q3 2020.
It's on PINK.NOINFO so not currently tradeable on most pennystock-capable brokers.
