Inline hockey is not (yet) an Olympic sport. When it is, and I think that will rightfully happen; It will become a profitable enterprise. ATM the money is in ice hockey. The OP asked about hobbies, not money.
Inline hockey is a wonderful sport. It's like Ice Hockey, but without the need for an expensive ice rink. It can bring the wonders of Ice Hockey to poorer, hot countries but it's not something that will make you money. Check it out. It has real passion.
