I want to buy $1300 worth of crypto for my Mom, what's a balanced portfolio for her?
I hope to minimize downside risk but I think she will forget about it very quickly.
I'm thinking 33% BTC, 33% ETH, 33% LINK. Do you think I should still DCA or just get an entry at this price level?

for an actual response,

Pick up 25% BTC 25% Eth and split the last 50% across 5 altcoin projects (DYOR)

I'd recommend Elrond, Cardano, Fantom, and maybe some DeFi projects (again DYOR it may not be the best time to invest in certain parts of DeFi space)

also if you want a safer hedge go 50% BTC 25% Eth then last 25% alts

If she will forget about the rollercoaster ride of crypto just go all in LINK and tell her to check it in a year.

I love my mom, already saved up 1k LINK as her retirement fund. Hopefully she can enjoy retirement life from staking reward. That's my plan to make it.

What about DCA vs All in? Is there a place that I can do automatic DCA without paying enormous fee?
