used to work for insanely wealthy old money family, private nurse for one of the last surviving family members and I basically got paid to hang around in his house all day giving him pills. There were a lot of other old money families who would come by to visit and I would ease drop on everything. Many of the women in their 20' 30's were insanely lonely it seemed and would have some of the most obvious parasite loser male friends tag along, it was bizarre. Many of them seemed like vapid scammers, not particularly good looking, they all had some obviously made up story of who they were or where they come from and the woman seemed to just look the other way because they were lonely and depressed. further, I did this for a few years and I was the higher social functioning of the "hired help" so I got the privilege to converse and interact with a lot of big money visiting families enough to get to know them pretty well. These people are mostly delusional (the old money who have many generations of wealth, literally never had to work for generations) and live in the craziest bubble you could ever imagine, completely detached from reality and the life you and I live and not in a good way. A lot of them, not all but many are just completely mental and have never seemed to have faced themselves through struggle in any meaningful way, especially as they get in their 70's-80's still acting like spoiled children.

And the endless conveyer belt of hangers on and scammers and pathetic sociopathic sidlers constantly gunning for a seat at the table, ruthlessly fighting each other in game of thrones style social combat to be one of the "close friends" or inner circle, it just never ended. on and on and on... and many of these rich people didn't have the social skills to even notice it all, either that or they enjoyed controlling everyone.

the worst part is, towards the end of his life the fucker declared he wanted to "make something of me" (put me in his will I suppose) months after he was declared demented and had no control of anything. He even mentioned it to his banker and his lawyer during one of the monthly house visits and they just hushed it along and never looked at me the same again, mother fuckers.

I got hired through one of these scumbag agencies so I was in a contract, they do that nowadays to keep staff from manipulating and getting all wiled eyed for some inheritance. I did threaten to leave multiple times after I became trusted to the old dude and fought with the agency constantly, they always upped my salary so I did pretty well but not as well as I should've. He was a cash cow for them.. I'll tell you bros if you ever get work for people like this NEVER go through a third party, you will get fucked hard and if you work for old money families like this directly you will benefit if they aren't stingy cunts. The craziest part is I was probably the closest person in the old man's life at the end. He trusted me and use to get into these dementia states of consciousness and tell me about how he and his brother were constantly molested as children at the country club locker room by older men.
