it does, in fact, make them a tech company. They arent just developing software for cars (unlike actual car companies, which produce cars and stuff shitty poorly integrated software and computers into it), but for their over all energy business. Which, despite the dipshits in this thread, are not failing businesses. These are sectors which are seeing immensely rapid growth. The market moves based on predictions of the future. People see Tesla run up and think it has to go down, and maybe it will go down over the span of a week for some reason or another, but do they really think that people are going to sober up and find out that Tesla isnt actually worth that much because of its past performance, when its literally getting bought on expectations of continual future growth?

I always felt smug knowing that I have invested and saved up to 100k up til now, instead of consoomed like my 23 year old peers. Because of 2017/early 2018, I don't think many people realize how much money you could make back then. You could literally follow certain Twitter accounts and FOMO in when the accounts started shilling a certain alt-coin, which would net you like 20%+ in seconds. It's all a risky pump and dump scam obviously, but if you were fast enough you could make a lot of money. That's not true at all.
Penny stocks a lot more volatile.
If you have a trading strategy that relies on volatility (not matter if it's up or down) penny stocks are the best for that.
Just having some basic intuitive notions about probability theory and how the pdf's of stock (log)returns behave is enough to take advantage of that. I usually can make consistent +10%'s in 10 business days with a given volatile stock, without any options or making real calculations. It only works because I'm poor compared to hedgefunds, thus my transactions do not affect the stock prices.

GOD DAMN IT. You FUDding pieces of shit and those lying fuckers at Morningstar shook me into selling my fucking BLNK at 4.85 at close yesterday. I just lost almost a thousand in potential profits and what would have been a 5x is now a 3x because I thought (((after hours traders))) were going to dump it into oblivion after I couldn't do shit about it once again.

And now I have to come in this thread and look at fucking zoomers posting about making 50,000 in a week. I want to fucking die.

the cybertruck is horrible
with e-mobility and modern production tech it would be so fucking easy to build something nice, aerodynamic and not so fucking blocky
they dont even need a big clunky block for an engine in the front anymore, except as crumple zone, but that would go in a dynamic blob design too
