But Ryder produces EV for Fedex and with the increased last-mile & delivery demand with the corona-virus crisis, and more people working from home, I can only see an upside to putting your money on Ryder. Fedex already ordered 900 EV from Ryder in January. And WKHS isn't a threat to Ryder since WKHS is vying for mainly DHL, USPS contracts, not to mention NKLA doesn't have anything up and running and TSLA is more about commercial EVs

Premium prices are determined by how long until the expiration date (longer -> higher). how volatile (more swingy -> higher), and current price (how likely is it to move to the strike -> higher).
The closest real world analog for a call is the seller of the call is a life insurance company for the buyer (a single person). You pay monthly premiums for the policy and the cost will be higher if you have a history of alcohol abuse or smoking.
The closest real world analog to a put are like paying to pre-order a card game box for a fixed price when they get more by a certain date.

Ryder deals in fleet management and is basically leasing EVs, so WKHS needs Ryder to touch Fedex. WKHS wants to skip the management aspect and directly supply fleets to USPS (thereby cutting out the middleman). But if Fedex calls for additional EV fleets, it will most likely ask Ryder first, who will then either source from Chanje or WKHS. Since Chanje is already in strong production, it's good to have a bet on Ryder since Chanje isn't listed on NYSE.

Basically what I'm saying is WKHS needs Ryder and if WKHS or Fedex rise, Ryder has to rise too - it just hasn't caught on yet since the market hasn't made the correlation yet

And yes there were two dips already earlier in 2020 because of the lawsuit and COVID-19 but that just means it's better to buy in now

Trying to reduce my portfolio of stocks to a more manageable level especially with how I have one sector heavily spread out. Have selected 6 stocks for sure to get rid of, with a possible 7th stock. Which brings me under 10 stocks but still holding maybe an extra stock or two I'd might want to get rid of. The issue is some of these are down but at the same time cutting losses is better than holding...sometimes.

I can take a hit (and boy have I taken a hit with options) just stings but at least stock losses don't sting as hard. Comes out to about high $2000.... The question at that point becomes am I better off having that money as cash (and possibly throwing it into better investments) OR leaving the stocks alone only for the gains to surpass staying in cash or jumping to another stock. Hmm will probably sell off the smaller losses first (sub $250). Will have to decide on the bigger losses if I should sell or just sell covered calls instead (which could screw me over from getting out on a good pump that might not last).

Gonna be a nasty gap down open for Denny's today. They announced dilutive share offering yesterday after close. It was -5% after hours, now -10% in premarket. I think i'll probably bail as per personal trading rule of dilution = insta sell. Fortunately this is not a large position for me.
