I would say more than 8 weeks, because that's the starting point of the 3x multiplier. And I don't expect everyone to unstake as they are going to make more liquidity incentives and if ample is integrated into other defi projects the buying/selling pressure will partially support the crashes.
There's zero incentive to crash the price, anything higher than 1+0.05 makes whales money. The higher the price, the higher the yield too.

Basically if one side of the pair pumps really hard, the pool becomes unbalaced and ends up with more of the coin that didn't pump, netting a loss. The Geyser is supposed to offset this for AMPL liquidity providers. Uniswap pools are most profitable for liq providers in a crab market with lots of trading.

Hard to say. That said, based on my short TA, the buying pressure is absolutely crushing the orderbook. Over 2x as many buy orders.

Like anything, getting in earlier is better, especially for the long term chad gains. Price per coin doesn't tell the whole story. They can price target based on the rebase rate, but the actual % of the supply you own will be less if you wait, so you'll get less rebase gains.

The goal seems to be to build up AMPL's liquidity and mcap enough that it will be used as a base money in DeFi, alongside (and eventually replacing) BTC and ETH in that role. If we see AMPL adopted and integrated into lots of the new DeFi protocols popping up that's a good sign. Rebases take effect over 10 days, not just 1 to move the price back down. However, as buy pressure pushes the price up, the subsequent rebase % stack and give even better yield. We might see little dips in price, but the $1 won't come back unless literally everyone sells.

The rebase adjustment for the price changes on July 1 will happen on July 1, July 2, July 3, July 4, July 5, July 6, July 7, July 8, July 9, July 10.
And so on each day.
They overlap so they stack. A bullrun day (like today) triggers fomo, so tomorrow is likely to also be a bullrun day, thus a cascading rush up.

A $1b mcap at $20 is 50m AMPLs.

However, since AMPLs scale with price, assuming same sell and buy pressure, $2.3->$20 is a 8.7x, meaning 204m AMPL total supply and so $4.08b mcap.

But, I'm not sure if that is right simply because the mcap can stay the same but the supply increase relative to it as it moves back down to $1.

So it's really down to how quickly it gets to $20 per AMPL. But $20/AMPL, $4.08b mcap, 204 AMPL supply, if same growth rate and ratio of buys to sells holds.
