20030233 No.20030233 [Reply] [Original]

"SENT would like to thank OKEx for the invitation to host a validator on the OKChain testnet. "

OkChain is being built on Tendermint and will host OKEx's exchange token, OKB (ranked in top #50 tokens) as well as a cross-chain DEX environment.

SENT would also like to commend the
OKEx team's performance and participation in the cosmos CosmosDevs GOZ competition.

To find out more about the upcoming OkChain mainnet and it's interoperable design, read:

sent got invited by okex cause sent team won multiple phases of game of zones (GoZ) the competition organized by cosmos team.

https://cosmos.network/goz
sentinel competed against other top dpos validators such as polychain

after winning the competition github commits for sentinel tendermint dpos chain are increasing, in the next few months we should see an incentivized testnet with a competition and rewards and main net should follow soon enough

a lot of projects are switching away from ethereum to cosmos/tendermint cause of the superior SDK and customization.
cosmos will also have multiple possible state machines:
EVM
web assembly
interledger
java

code monkeys are literally drooling to develop on web asemply instead of solidity this will start the greatest dev increase in the crypto space

other then their horrible design decisions there is a lot of other problems with eth, its not user friendly enough for normies to use, thats what killed dapps and why ethereum pivoted to defi, its cause most dapps were priced out or undo able.
with tendermint every dapp that has sustainable revenue can get its own chain thus making their services less expensive for end users which is essential for stuff like dVPNs or other things that require micropayments.
also eth doesn't allow to pay gas with tokens other then eth and that creates enormous problems for onboarding new users.
SENT chain will allow anybody to pay with any token having to manage multiple tokens is too much for normies

btw anybody can try SENT dVPN dapp for free

https://sentinel.co/downloads

sent has usually 60k weekly users, its probably one of the crypto projects with the biggest userbase, dVPN is a crypto niche that has been ignored largely by the market it doesn't hhave the attention it deserves, if we compare it to prediction markets which have at best 100 weekly users it clearly shows the valuation are inflated :

augur nearly 200 m mcap with 100 weekly users

SENT 2m mcap with 60k weekly users

Aragon which was one of the strongest eth supporters is switching to cosmos evm thats a pretty big signal imo
The ability to embed custom code in the chain itself is a game changer also i wonder how staking will interact with defi, i think we will see stuff much more crazy then COMP

sent wouldn't be possible without this, the dvpn logic will be part of sent chain

https://blog.chorus.one/liquid-staking-report/
there is some very interesting research on staking derivatives already

the future is multi chain its the superior way of scaling cause single applications require custom features that a single chain can't provide, it also gives much more value to token holders which get revenue from chain usage and users get cheaper txns

its an opportunity for people that notice this gigantic market flaw, but keep in mind that sent has been heavily accumulated , and there is no one left selling check sent orderbooks across exchanges the sell side is thin as fuck, if people wanted to get out there would be many more sell orders.
sent has one of the best token distributions in crypto

failed by what standards ?

cosmos is the protocol which is getting most adoption after eth, all other chains don't even compete, if by failing you mean getting more and more devs working on tendermint based projects then you are right

the IOS release is one of the biggest releases in months and the following releases will be even more important as they have been developed during the past year:
>v3 desktop client
>wireguard integration
>private nets
