Everything is up in the air at the moment. We're definitely waiting for our pool contributors to be refunded. We also need to wait and see how Statera will be pooled going forward, whether through Balancer or otherwise. Keep in mind the devs are in this with us. We've dealt with FUD from day 1. We've passed an audit. We've survived a schism and continue to rebuke they who shall not be spoken of. We will work through this.

It was a scam but not in the way that everyone thinks. The coin did it’s job, the original dev just exploited the gulp() function using the flash loans and the token burn. Apparently some people on balancer did some tracing of some tornado cash deposits and it lead to a wallet involved with the burn token....the devs previous project. Looks like he maybe either learned of the vulnerability himself or built the token so that he could exploit it. Regardless, this token is dead. There’s no point to it anymore

why would noke (stonk dev) risk their stonks to reimburse pool members? gotta spend fake money to make fake money. the fake money being the tokens, spending it being risking crashing it to actual worthlessness, making fake money being the advertisement of everyone coming out of it a savior to the investors and potentials.

Either 'they' are all in on it together like its Oceans 11

there is no they and we're all just taking this way too seriously or not seriously enough (both).

I'm still pissed off as a whale. It was obvious since STA1 that if you treated this glitch fest like a long-term PnD (meaning you keep rebuying the bottom after you sold the top) you could have made 300k USDs or more and still have like 5M tokens dispersed into 5 addresses to not scare the noobs.
As it is right now we've taking the glitches like punches in the face instead of using them in our advantage.
We could have had 150k USDs or more FREE to trade other shitcoins and especially whale tokens like COMP or any upcoming listing on Binance or any DeFi.

Anons.
I'm not posting in order to try and tell you what you should be doing with your money, but... How come some of you are still hoping for a recovery after such a massive red flag, in every meaning of the term? I want you to pay attention to the following words : it doesn't matter that the hack occurred, that the balancer pool devs are willing to bend the knee. What matters is that now, Statera is as good as dead in the eyes of most investors with what happened. Smart anons probably already realized that only someone who worked with integrating the smart contract with the pool could have done this, namely Scott himself or someone from the balancer team. Look at the transfers between the addresses...

>But surely after this Statera will make its own pool! Or the balancer devs will fix this issue and find a way to implement it better with the deflationary nature of the token!

What tells you that the pool will be safe, then? What if Scott or another hacker with enough dedication exits again with the money? What if there's another issue that the audit cannot find? People might look at these questions and brand them as FUD. But is it really baseless? Or are they actual concerns from people who surely had to work in order to obtain the money they're about to invest in crypto? Why do you think the price has been struggling to stay above $0.025? Because "weak hands" are selling? No. It's because even the whales at the top simply lost hope in STA, and have been moving towards more promising projects such as DMG or XSN. I commend the strength and balls of those who bought back at 0.005 to sell at the new top of 3c, which will probably be the ATH for the coming years if the project is still alive by then.

Just cut your losses or stop being greedy. Sell those heavy bags. It's been enough already. You did well holding for a month, considering the wild ride it's been. But now is the time to move on, STA is unironically dead. That was the dead cat bounce. Sell. Sell now.

Ah bobo, not so different you and I

Say everyone on /biz/ views it as a shitcoin and dumps it to ~0. The question then is can it be salvaged to the general public if not us. If it works in theory, and the theory makes the money for the investors, it'll be pumped. Or it'll be copied. But the copy will have to vary the pool coins, the % for each, its never going to be 1:1, would be little point unless Scott was hitler reborn or something. The smartest investors see this news for what it is, a blip with potential for development from here. STA is still as good for DeFi as it was two weeks ago.

Balancer team said end of week they will release how they will reimburse. No doubt its more difficult for them.
However it should be really easy for STA. They are only reimbursing STA of which they have almost 5 million in one wallet alone. They should have airdropped it already. The fact they have not is a bad sign. They likely do not have the ability to fix statera long term and are hyping it up to keep prices up while they exit. ONCE they exit their own personal positions then they will reimburse knowing itll crash the price.

>> No.20029345

>>20029178
How is it going to be a pain?

There will be a pool containing STA/ETH pair, and probably WBTC WETH LINK and SNX like the OG one. The STA/ETH Uniswap liq. token will have a ETH pairing on Uni and will be traded just like BPT did.

I want to remind you that before Statera gave BPT market value, noone was trading them. It's gonna be the same, just no fot token in balancer pool and no attack vector. Sounds great to me.

Yes. Also its not buying STA. So STA value doesnt change based on the bal pool. Only the token for pooling the STA/ETH paid will change in value. So then STA is not needed. Only the pooling token voucher for the STA/ETH pair. Its not a fix as far as I can tell. Its going to be even more confusing to normies.
Buy this token then pool it, then use the new token and put it in this pool and then you get BAL rewards... When there will be far more BAL pools to choose from.

I'm talking about the history of Bitcoin. Blockstream took over BTC and it's kikes, in case you didn't know, and it's NOT what Bitcoin originally was. There is also a belief among many that the 2017 BTC bull run was manipulation. It wasn't proper organic adoption. They created a frenzy to get people into this. Why are they doing this? The globalists want to kill the US dollar and the US economy. They would have you believe everything that's going on is just life unfolding naturally. LMAO. This corona shit is no coincidence. Other crypto coins were launched before Bitcoin but didn't catch on because they were killed. Bitcoin was successful because KIKES were behind it from the start. I watched it rise from the bottom and in 2011 and have spent a lot of time observing to be able to formulate these theories. I really do not wish this were true, because it's sad.

On top of that, some hacker faggot made them spend $500,000 to save face from bad PR, all from an exploit that they didn't give a shit about because it was related to STA.

Lmfao. No wonder Mike is fucking seething. Fucker should understand that deflationary tokens are here to stay including but not limited to STA.

i used to be the biggest sta supporter from day one but the longer the project went on the more it got clear what a despicable shady bunch they are. they are liars and nothing but intransparent. on top of that they are amateurs.
sta holdere don’t seem to realize that the tg tranny mangan keeps shitting the bed for them. abu is lazy and scott isn’t even there anymore. gc is the only one who seems somewhat competent but what good does that do as long as he’s surrounded by interns?
i’d have no reason to shit on the project as i bought in noticeably below 1c, but facts are facts.

>WHY to buy STA
1) First deflationary Crypto index fund. STA's price is tied in with the price of bitcoin, ethereum, chainlink and snx via the balancer with 20% weightage to each so whenever any token experiences a, let's say, a price pump, a certain amount of that token is sold to buy other tokens to finally keep the USD value of all 5 pooled tokens to be the same.

2) STA is deflationary like BOMB was (which did a 100x) so token burn keeps on reducing supply leading to an upwards price pressure. Since early june, out of 101 million STA tokens, 11 million have been burned leaving roughly 90 million tokens now.

3) Lastly, the DeFi use case and accompanying hype is very real and STA has great potential to come out as of the leading projects of the next crypto bull run which many predict will get triggered by the DeFi space.

Do your own research and read a lot more of course. Also, tons of archived STA threads so can check them out as well.

>1. isnt true anymore. There is no pool and talk about a new pool excludes STA.
The balancer labs team is about to refund $500,000 worth of pool money. Some might be a bit nervous at first to pool their money back in but in the end greed rules and eventually all that cash is going to flow back to STA's balancer pool, from where it was hacked away in the first place. As for new pool not having STA, firstly it'll have upt (uniswap pool token) which will represent STA's value and STA will be pooled in a separate token-burn friendly pool on uniswap. So practically it'll be STA inside the balancer minus the earlier hack exploit.

>2. STA is still deflationary but look at bomb. No one wants it anymore.
No one wants to buy BOMB because its price pump depends on investors continuously buying it. Meanwhile, with STA, people would wanna (especially normies) just buy a single token to cash in on the next crypto bullrun via STA's index fund aspect + hypothetically even if there were no investors buying, the price pump due to token burn will carry on as the balancer trades among the 5 tokens in its pool 24x7 forever.

We have no interest in STA, Actually it could never happen in real life you'd need to control 99% of the balanvcer pool.
